HEAD STYLIST / CO-OWNER
Ironically, Darcy began her education across the street from Studio 3 at West University Elementary School. She is the proud co-owner of Studio 3-The Salon with her wife, Jennifer. After graduating from Lamar High School, Darcy achieved her Associate’s Degree from San Jacinto College. Darcy began an outstanding career at the Michael Thomas Salon in Palm Desert, California. Upon returning to Houston, Darcy has furthered her career with vast amounts of continuing education and training. She is certified as a Goldwell Master Colorist, Ouidad Curl and L’Oreal Balayage Specialist, just to name a few! Education is always on her mind, and she is constantly learning and growing in the Beauty and Salon Field.
Darcy’s dream of creating an innovative, upscale Hair Salon became a reality in June 2006. She is constantly perfecting Studio 3, as she works tirelessly to develop and maintain the highest hair care standards while promoting the most inviting environment. Darcy also personally teaches and trains Houston’s up-and-coming hair industry talent through a state-of-the-art Apprentice Program she developed and oversees. Darcy loves Houston and the Beauty Industry, and there is no better place to see a reflection of her amazing talents than at Studio 3-The Salon.
Jennifer

Jennifer is proud to be a multi generational Texan and Houstonian, she manages the daily operations of Studio 3. She is well known in the community as she is a native Houstonian and previously co-owned The Children’s Greenhouse in the West U-Rice University area. She attended Lamar High School and the University of Houston.
Jennifer is dedicated to excellent customer service. As co-owner, she is committed to creating an inviting atmosphere and an outstanding experience for each client, as well as, each member of the Studio 3 team. Her love for the community, patrons of the salon, and the Studio 3 staff is apparent in everything she does. Jennifer’s devotion to excellence continues to make Studio 3 a premier salon.

Phoenix - Stylist
Phoenix is from Houston and graduated from the Olge School of Hair. Phoenix enjoys the diversity and personalized approach that the beauty industry brings. She is looking forward to furthering her education in the salon and learning. Phoenix is especially looking forward to learning more about color, fantasy colors and putting her skills to use. Phoenix is currently Darcy’s apprentice, and you will find her to be cheerful and willing to please. She is an integral part of the salon and the day-to-day operations. In her spare time, she loves to bake and loves the theater. She also enjoys new adventures with travel, food, and new places!
Jenny - Stylist
Jenny graduated from the San Jacinto College Cosmetology program. While attending school, she began working as a receptionist at Studio 3. After completing her apprenticeship with Darcy, she joined the team and has since made her mark as a premier hairstylist. Jenny has completed several programs and obtained certificates in Ouidad, Pro Fiber and Kerasilk. She has also studied to become a Goldwell Master Colorist. Jenny is an educator in the salon and enjoys teaching the next generation thru the salons Apprentice program. Jenny is recently married and enjoys spending time with her wife, family, and friends. Jenny is always willing to lend a helping hand and her dedication to the salon and her clients is evident in all that she does.
Rhonda - Stylist
Rhonda was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and studied cosmetology at the Still Well Technical Center. She has trained in several beauty lines such as, Goldwell, L’Oreal, Nectaya, Kerasilk, and Ouidad Curl. Rhonda has also received training in an apprenticeship with Darcy, and by attending classes taught by Nick Arrojo and Jo Blackwell. As a seasoned hairstylist, Rhonda has been in some aspect of the industry for 35 years. Studio 3 is proud to say that Rhonda has been with the salon from its inception! Rhonda has two grown amazing, successful daughters. Her pride and joy is her grandson! You will find her spending a lot of time with him!
Andrew - Stylist
Andrew is a native Houstonian and a graduate from San Jacinto College. He is a Ouidad Curl Certified Specialist, and a former representative for Kerastase and Shu Uemura hair care. With this background, Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and provides some of the best customer service in the industry. He knows the correct products to maintain healthy hair, as well as styling products appropriate for different types of hair. Andrew is a proud husband and father to his amazing family. When the Astros are playing you can bet Andrew will be watching!
Hannah - Stylist
Hannah is originally from the Clear Lake area and graduated from Paul Mitchell Academy In Houston. She has attended several Behind the Chair and IBS Beauty Shows. Hannah has received continuing education from L’Oréal, RDA, and Beth Minardi, to name a few. She has attended the Goldwell Master Color Class to become a Goldwell Master Colorist. Hannah loves everything about the Beauty Industry. Hannah loves to travel the world! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is recently married! They have two of the cutest dogs, Elvis and Sally and enjoy spoiling them!
Deborah - Stylist
Deborah attended San Jacinto College to receive her Cosmetology degree. Shortly after beginning her career, Deborah attended several Top of the Industry Hair Shows and studied in Paris and London. Deborah has learned from some of the leading hair stylists and hair product companies in the Beauty Field. Experienced and talented, she opened and operated her own Salon and Day Spa for five years. Deborah has two of the cutest dogs you will ever meet. Her passion for her friends and family is contagious and she strives to be a blessing to everyone she meets.
Lexy - Stylist
Many of you will remember Lexy from years past. Lexy began her career at Studio 3 in 2011 as a receptionist, quickly became Darcy's apprentice and then built an amazing clientele and career at Studio 3. Lexy moved to California for the adventure of a lifetime but has returned to her roots and her salon family. To say we are thrilled to have Lexy back is an understatement. Lexy has attended extended education throughout her career. Lexy is dedicated to her clients and Studio 3. You will find her to be extremely talented, very warm, and always willing to go the extra mile. You will leave your time with feeling well taken care of and loving your look!
Sarah - Stylist
Sarah is a native Houstonian and a graduate of Memorial Private High School. She attended Olge School of Cosmetology. Sarah’s history with Studio 3 began when Sarah was a young client. She then became the Salon Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist. Sarah has completed the salon apprentice program under Jenny and has perfected her skills to become an excellent Hairstylist. Dedication and persistence have aided Sarah as she furthers a blossoming career in the Beauty Industry. Sarah always has a smile on her face and is ready to help make you look amazing. To say that Sarah is an animal lover and advocate is an understatement. In her downtime, Sarah enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter and their sweet dog Bear
Elle -Stylist
Elle began at Studio 3 as a Salon Assistant. Elle’s attentive and ambitious nature quickly escalated her to the position of Darcy’s Apprentice. We are thrilled that she has completed her Apprentice program and is looking forward to the next step in her career. She has a natural talent and a love for the art and science behind the creativity of hair care and beauty. She is fascinated by the opportunity of endless education. Elle enjoys learning and is excited about the amazing opportunity to learn from the best! Elle is dedicated to her family and enjoys spending time with them She is Bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English! Elle has a smile that lights up a room and she is a breath of fresh air in the salon.
